Our courteous, trained, and certified staff members are hired for their sincerity and education. We believe the quality of our staff is critical in determining the quality of our program. Throughout the day, the teacher guides the children's learning through careful planning and preparation. They do this by asking open ended questions, making cautious suggestions and by encouraging problem solving skills and creative thinking.
Another important role of the teacher is to carefully observe and document the individual progress of the student, and to relay any questions or concerns to the parent. The teachers also model appropriate language and social skills.
Beginning 25 years ago New Horizon Center, Inc.'s mission was to serve and enhance the lives of youth and their families. Our company's vision recently expanded by opening a day care center for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Opening this facility aids in New Horizon Center's goal of providing services for youth from newborn to adulthood.
